Ask yourself a few questions:
- If you could change the something locally or globally, what would it be? if you can answer this, you might be on the right track.
- What do you enjoy? How can your hobbies and skills benefit a non-profit?
- Are you looking to join the workforce again? Are you new to Ottawa? Are you hoping to become more engaged in your community?
- Would you like to work from home? Work with people? Help the environment?
- What kind of time commitment can you give at the present time? Always remember: Anytime volunteering is time well spent!
- Are you hoping to develop a skill? Work on your language?
- Would you like to meet new people?
- Are you ready to make a difference? Because by volunteering, YOU WILL!!
