Computers for Communities is looking for an experienced and motivated fund raising and grant coordinator. This volunteer will lead a team of volunteers to revise and execute a plan to raise $20k.
Fund raising experience for a non-profit organization is required.
Responsibilities will include:
- reviewing and revising fundraising plans
- writing proposals
- developing fundraising tools
- organizing Door to Door canvasing
- researching and writing grant proposals
- providing training opportunities for volunteer fundraisers
- attending social fundraising events
C4C will benefit by developing skills in fundraising to enable us to deliver programs and to better serve our partners and meet our mandates.
This volunteer will develop skills in:
- Communication
- Professional Networking
- Contact management
- Proposal writing
- Project management
Commitment / Engagement: 6 months to 1 year
