Computers for Communities connects individuals with spare computer technology with those who face barriers to accessing computers and the Internet. Volunteers can earn volunteer hours by refurbishing computers, installing software and configuring systems to support community computer labs and individuals learning about computers. Volunteers can either earn a computer themselves after 24 hours of service or building six (6) computers or contribute their volunteer hours to a pool of hours that will be given to people who are unable to volunteer themselves. No technical skills required, although certainly welcome. All skills development and tools are provided. Volunteer opportunities are every second Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.
