Waupoos Family Farm is seeking individuals to provide transportation for families in need, coming to Waupoos for a summer or weekend vacation.
Many visiting families do not have a car and need assistance with transportation to and from the farm as we are not located on a city bus route.
Summer vacations at Waupoos begin on a Monday after 3 pm and end on a Sunday AM. On long weekends, vacations typically begin on Friday afternoon and end on the holiday Monday before noon.
Volunteers must have the ability to respect privacy of families and observe confidentiality requirements.
This will assist us in serving families in need. It is difficult to offer transportation to families with out a car and it is only with the help of volunteers that we can provide this service.
The volunteer will have the opportunity to meet and assist families with young children. Their contribution will help the family enjoy an affordable vacation with their family.

The Waupoos Foundation provides holidays to low income families in the Ottawa community. Since 1975, qualified families who have no other opportunities for a family holiday and have at least one child under the age of 16 have been welcome to apply for a vacation at Waupoos Farm in south Ottawa.
Waupoos is a Christ-centred community integrating prayer, work and play in our activities while providing vacations to families in need. Vacationing families are invited to participate in any or all aspects of this motto.
