This organization, established in 1979, which provides homes and day supports for individuals with multiple disabilities and special communication needs is seeking Board members.
We are looking for new people interested in making a difference who have time, expertise and enthusiasm in fundraising, legal issues, finance or other fields. Regular Board meetings are held at 7PM on the last Monday of each month, except December, July and August. Board terms are 3 years and many Board members serve on committees and attend 2 or 3 other TCE events during the year.

Provide necessary expertise, energy, time and advice to assist in the areas of governance: finance, legal, planning, advocacy, labour relations, and fundraising.
Opportunity to gain experience on a not-for-profit board, develop professional skills (advocacy, planning, government liaison, fundraising) for a worthwhile cause. Develop and gain knowledge and understanding about individuals with multiple disabilities and special communication needs,their families, and experiences.
