COVID-19 Update

VO is recruiting and deploying volunteers to respond to the volunteer needs specific to COVID-19 in Ottawa, Prescott-Russell, Lanark County and Renfrew County while ensuring proper screening and training protocals to safeguard the health of those volunteering and those they are assisting. Please see the intake portals for volunteers, for members, and for other agencies on our hompage. VO’s COVID 19 volunteer deployment program is supported by the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund and the Ottawa Community Foundation.

Coffee House Series - Session II - Wills and Estates

Funded by the Ottawa Community Foundation and in collaboration with Bread by Us, Families Matter Co-op Inc. invites you to join us for some tasty treats and a great conversation on the topic of Wills and Estates.

The Coffee House series is designed for parents, siblings and caregivers of a loved one with a developmental disability to get together and share knowledge and experiences, build networks and access essential information on community services, programs and support systems.

When: Thursday, April 12, 2018 (6:15 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.)

Where: Bread by Us, an amazing local Artisan Bakery and Espresso Bar, located at 1065 Wellington St., W., OTTAWA

Guest Speaker:
• Pinelopi Makrodimitris from Merovitz Potechin LLP will lead the discussion.

• $15/person (free for members of Families Matter Co-Op. Inc.).
