OCH is recruiting volunteers for the annual Food Truck Rendez-Vous which is a fundraiser for the Ottawa Community Housing Foundation. OCH house's over 32,000 low income families, seniors, new Canadians and vulnerable persons. We are recruiting volunteers to help with our Green Team - to help our event be as sustainable and clean as possible. This is a good activity for individuals and families. Volunteers will be matched in pairs and will also get a nice break to enjoy some of the food and music. A $10 food voucher and a t-shirt will be provided.

Here are a few of the details for the day:
When: Saturday, September 24th, 2016
Where: Site of the former St. Charles Church at 135 Barrette Street, nestled in between Barrette Street and Beechwood Avenue, at St. Charles Street.
Who: ModBox Developments, OCH Foundation, the soon-to-be-announced new beneficiary, local businesses, over a dozen of Ottawa’s new and favourite food trucks, and thousands of Ottawa’s taste-adventuring folks.

The event will be from 4pm-9pm and we ask volunteers to arrive between 3:00pm-3:15pm to register and get orientation on their role. The volunteer kick off will be at 3:30pm. Once the event ends, we will clean up as quickly as possible and volunteers will be free to leave by 9:30pm at the latest. If you will need to leave earlier, please let us know in advance. More info will be send the week prior to the event, including a map and information about parking.
