CUPE 503 Rock for Public Service

November 11, 2016

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa is putting a call out for volunteers.

CUPE 503 has selected us as the charity of choice for their Rock for Public Service concert on November 11th, 2016. Staff and volunteers will be set up around the TD Place arena to collect donations from the attendees of this free concert. The volunteer hours will be from 5pm – 11pm. However if you can’t stay till 11pm we can accommodate your schedule.

Parking will not be included unfortunately. All volunteers will be asked to meet Danielle Saul at the front entrance of TD Place that faces Bank St.

Volunteers will be provided with a volunteer shirt so they can be easily identified. We ask that you wear proper shoes with good grip as there will be stairs in the arena.

This is the 9th year of this event and we are so pleased to have been chosen. In the past charities that have been selected have made anywhere between $7,000 to $30,000. The success of the charity of choice is dependent on the number of volunteers they can assemble to reach out to the average 5,000 attendees.

If you are willing and available to volunteer please contact me as soon as possible. We really hope you are able to join us.

Thank you,

Danielle
