September 9 - 13, 2019
Did you know that Canada’s largest regatta event for persons with disabilities is being held September 9-13, 2019 at the Nepean Sailing Club?
The event will be held from September 9 to 13, 2019. This annual regatta will provide persons with disabilities and their companions an opportunity to enjoy 5 days of racing Martin 16 keel boats in either the Silver or Gold fleet. This is a great opportunity for the sailors not only to test their sailing skills against top level competitors in an international regatta, but also to socialize with old and new friends during the day and at several evening events taking place at both NSC and BYC.
The two most important factors in making a regatta like this a success is people and funding. We are looking for volunteers to not only help out during the regatta week, but also to help in finding both corporate support and personal donations. If you would like to volunteer please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or go to http://www.mobilitycup.com. Any ideas towards further funding for the regatta would be a much appreciated, and can be sent along to Aaron or Alan at the same email address.
