Animation Celebration - Special Event Volunteers

One in ten Canadians are diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and many others are at risk – The Kidney Foundation of Canada works to increase awareness and support those with CKD.

The Kidney Foundation of Canada is a national volunteer based organization committed to reducing the burden of kidney disease through funding and stimulating innovative research; providing education and support; promoting access to quality healthcare; and increasing public awareness and commitment to advancing kidney health and organ donation.

Why this is a Great Opportunity for You
We are looking for Special Event Volunteers who will be responsible for assisting with the Animation Celebration held at Algonquin College. More Details Below.
• Location: Algonquin College, T-Building, Room T-120
(1385 Woodroffe Ave Nepean, ON K2G 1V8)
• Dates: Saturday November 4th/Sunday November 5th
• Shifts: 8.30am-1pm or 12.30pm-5pm – You are more than welcome to stay the entire day!


Where We Need Your Assistance (activities/responsibilities)
• Stationed at tables, welcoming eventgoers, setting up tables, set up/take down,

Essential Skills
• Outgoing, friendly, welcoming
• Animation knowledge and skills are an asset but not necessary
• Teamwork, initiative, leadership

Requirements
• Must be 15+
• Willing to work on a team
• Possible moving of tables and setting up displays
• Standing, circulating throughout the event
• Follow instruction and report to supervisor

Commitment
• Location: Algonquin College, T-Building, Room T-120

Training
