About the Event
The 22nd Annual Enbridge Canoe for Kids takes place June 3rd at Mooney’s Bay. This exciting race aims to raise more than $120,000 with 100% of proceeds going towards Christie Lake Kids summer camp, located on the beautiful Christie Lake. Each summer, we send nearly 400 underprivileged kids to camp at no cost. We provide all of the materials and supplies, transportation, food, sleeping bags and clothes. Help make this summer the greatest summer for kids in Ottawa living in poverty. With your support, lives can be positively impacted this summer!
The Enbridge Canoe for Kids event allows 40 teams to register, so make sure you register early! You may have 6 teammates in the canoe at once, and each team is guaranteed two races. You of course can have more teammates than that though, cheering you on from shore, helping motivate your team, fundraising prior to the event and earning great prizes.
This event features a BBQ, free of charge for racers and volunteers a bouncy castle for the little ones, a visit from Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo; great prizes for participants and much more.
Let’s raise money to send kids to Christie Lake Camp this summer, get some great exercise and have a terrific time!
