Annual Pride Parade

August 27, 2017

The mission of the Ottawa Capital Pride organization is to create an environment for advocacy, education, and the fostering of a strong and vibrant rainbow community within the Nation’s Capital region. It does so through the annual Fierté dans la Capital(e) Pride festival, where it welcomes everyone to participate, celebrate, and experience being a part of the rainbow community.

We welcome you to join our 2017 volunteer team! Countless volunteers are required for the largest local celebration of gender identity, sexual orientation, and the overall queer community to be a success. As the largest event of the week-long festival, the annual pride parade needs the dedication and passion of over 150 volunteers to be successful.

As a member of our team, you will be surrounded by like-minded and accepting individuals while giving back to the community! Join us on August 27th, and show your colours.

Email us at volunteer@ottawacapitalpride.ca for answers to any of your questions.
