Tree Tapping at the Cabane à sucre

February 10, 2018

Vanier Museopark invites you to join us for a family-friendly activity this coming Saturday, February 10.

As the sugar season heats up, so do the trees. Each year, we gather with friends to tap the maple trees using a traditional method. After a short introduction to maple tree tapping, we will head out to the Richelieu forest and apply what we’ve just learned. A hot lunch will be provided, and activities will resume in the afternoon. This is a great opportunity to celebrate the start of the sugar season!

Although this is an activity for the whole family, we ask that only the adults manipulate the tools.

When: Saturday, February 10 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Where: Vanier Museopark Sugar Shack, 320 des Pères-Blancs Ave.
Cost: free
