Canadian Tulip Festival

May 2, 2018

This year, the Festival is all about “A World of Tulips” that will span 10 days from Friday May 11th - Monday May 21st, across 4 major locations in Ottawa.

We are looking for all you amazing volunteers to make this year’s festival a vibrant, uplifting experience with opportunities to assist with:

*exciting early art and craft projects (pre-festival opportunities),
*cultural days and events,
*programming assistance in the newly expanded family fun area,
*confidently speak with Festival guests at info booths,
*assist with set-up, tear-down, and daily logistics,
*keep your fellow volunteer’s spirits up as volunteer support,
*and of course there are opportunities to care for tulips as a Green Thumb

The Tulip Festival will also feature a Mother’s Day brunch at the Tulip Cafe in the Aberdeen Pavilion on Sunday May 13th as well as Victoria Day fireworks at Dow’s Lake on Monday May 20th. With so much going on, there are many opportunities to get involved!

As a Canadian Tulip Festival volunteer, you will receive:

*an official Festival t-shirt
*snacks during your shift
*end of festival party
*festival event experience
*volunteer hours for school or other programs
*building valuable connections and friendships in your community

Remember that volunteering is better together! Volunteer shifts are in pairs to ensure your support and safety, which is a great opportunity to have a friend volunteer with you.

Please contact Christine at for more information on how to register for volunteer shifts.
