VO is recruiting and deploying volunteers to respond to the volunteer needs specific to COVID-19 in Ottawa, Prescott-Russell, Lanark County and Renfrew County while ensuring proper screening and training protocals to safeguard the health of those volunteering and those they are assisting. Please see the intake portals for volunteers, for members, and for other agencies on our hompage. Volunteer Ottawa in partnership with Ottawa Riverkeeper – 20 volunteers

Caring for the health of our dynamic Ottawa River with a shoreline clean-up.

Ottawa Riverkeeper is a grassroots charity that brings together volunteers, communities, businesses and all levels of government to find solutions to the problems that threaten the health of our river.

Volunteers will help with:

  • Shoreline cleanup 

What to wear: clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, dress for the weather

Transportation: BUS - Departure: 8:30am

Bénévoles Ottawa en partenariat avec Garde-rivière des Outaouais – 20 bénévoles

Contribuez à la préservation de notre dynamique rivière des Outaouais en nettoyant son rivage.

Garde-Rivière des Outaouais est un organisme de bienfaisance local qui fédère des bénévoles, des collectivités, des entreprises et des représentants de tous les ordres de gouvernement pour trouver des solutions aux problèmes menaçant notre rivière.

Tâche des bénévoles :

  • Nettoyer le rivage.

Tenue : Vêtements adaptés à la météo, que vous ne craignez pas de salir

Transport : BUS - Départ 8h30
