VO is recruiting and deploying volunteers to respond to the volunteer needs specific to COVID-19 in Ottawa, Prescott-Russell, Lanark County and Renfrew County while ensuring proper screening and training protocals to safeguard the health of those volunteering and those they are assisting. Please see the intake portals for volunteers, for members, and for other agencies on our hompage. VO’s COVID 19 volunteer deployment program is supported by the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund and the Ottawa Community Foundation.

Ottawa New Years Eve Charity Ball

Destiny’s Way Foundation est. 2015, is a non-profit organisation created to aid charities that provide support to people with developmental disabilities and exceptionalities, through fundraising and donating resources. The Foundation’s dream of hosting the city of Ottawa’s biggest and most exciting New Year’s Eve party became a reality when in 2015 fundraising efforts began with the inaugural year of the Ottawa New Year's Eve Charity Ball, which took place on December 31, 2015 at the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre. Destiny's Way Foundation is once again proud to organize this year’s on December 31, 2019.

Event Description

Join us for a truly classy, exciting, fun filled evening with all proceeds benefitting the local charity Journey House, which provides residential support to youth with autism and special needs. This year’s gala will take place on Tuesday, December 31st, at the Ottawa Conference & Event Centre (200 Coventry Road) starting with cocktails at 6pm followed by a delectable four course meal, world class live music, fabulous auction items and prizes, and New Year’s Eve to be remembered.
