Program evaluation gives you the information you need to showcase the impact of your services, improve your effectiveness, promote staff development, and provide evidence of your organization’s effectiveness, which can justify your need for further funding and support. It is a process which ideally ought to start before your program even begins, and continue during and afterward. Evaluation can determine what your organization’s needs are, how those needs are being met, and what the overall impact has been.

Rachel Stoparczyk, CVA, is the Coordinator, Volunteer Services at The Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre. Rachel has 14 years’ experience leading diverse teams of volunteers, including previous roles with Volunteer Ottawa, VSO Canada and the Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre. She chaired the Canadian Journal of Volunteer Resources Management, and was a board member with Ottawa Administrators of Volunteer Resources and Distress Centre of Ottawa and Region. In addition to achieving the Certified in Volunteer Administration designation, Rachel received a certificate in Volunteer Resources Management from Algonquin College. She is a lifelong volunteer who currently enjoys her one-to-one match through the Ottawa Carleton Association for Persons with Developmental Disabilities. Rachel looks forward to sharing and learning with you.

Receipt of registration will be confirmed by e-mail or best alternative. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received within five (5) business days prior to an event. If cancellation is received with more than five (5) business days before the event, a $5.00 administration fee will apply. Registered participants who fail to attend an event will be invoiced for the full fee, due 30 days from the date of the invoice. Registration can be transferred to another member of your organization, if you are unable to attend
