The Many Benefits of Volunteering

20 juin 2018, 5:30 - 9:30 PM

Volunteering is important in many ways, bringing measurable benefits to organizations, the community, and individual volunteers themselves. Maria will talk about these benefits, and lead you through a process of self-reflection to help decide what types of volunteer opportunities would best suit your skills, interests, and availability. She will also show you how to use the Volunteer Ottawa website to find high-quality opportunities to contribute to the vibrant Ottawa community.  Come and explore the many positive rewards volunteering can have on your life and bring a friend that might be interested too.
