VO Executive Seminar Series: Strategic Planning

The Volunteer Ottawa Executive Seminar Series is designed exclusively for senior leaders of Ottawa-based non-profit organizations and charities. Come network with your peers and learn from thought leaders in the non-profit sector, what you need to know to keep your organization ahead of the curve in these changing times.

All organizations should have a strategy in place for how they will achieve their mission. How do you fill your mission with maximum efficiency and impact? Your plan should articulate specific goals and describe the action steps and resources needed to accomplish them. These plans should be reviewed and revamped every three to five years. Join Volunteer Ottawa at our inaugural Executive Seminar focused on how Executive Directors can incorporate a strategic plan in their workplace and why they should do it.

Executive Directors of any Charitable or Non-Profit Organization

Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Cost:

$75 members, $125 non-members

Instructor:

Marie Eveline is Volunteer Ottawa’s Executive Director. She is a highly motivated leader with over thirty years of experience in the not-for-profit sector including eighteen years as an Executive Director. While with both the Canadian Printing Industries Sector Council (CPISC) and the Canadian School Boards Association (CSBA), Marie established a track record in building relationships among diverse organizations at national, provincial and local levels. Marie believes that real change happens at the community level through the efforts of volunteers committed to making a difference.

Cancellation Policy

Receipt of registration will be confirmed by e-mail or best alternative. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received within five (5) business days prior to an event. If cancellation is received with more than five (5) business days before the event, a $5.00 administration fee will apply. Registered participants who fail to attend an event will be invoiced for the full fee, due 30 days from the date of the invoice. Registration can be transferred to another member of your organization, if you are unable to attend
