Your website is a valuable tool in reaching your clients, donors, the media, volunteers, and funding agencies.
In this workshop tailored specifically to non-profit organizations, you’ll learn how to structure the content of your website so that it works hard to win the hearts and minds of your target audience. The result of strong content is increased traffic to your site and increased response rates to your various calls to action.

Since 1982, Fred DeRosa has been working as an advertising copywriter and editor. Based in Ottawa, he specializes in writing and editing Web content and advertising materials such as voice-overs, company profiles, articles, and sales letters. As a writer, Fred designs messages to strong advertising and editing principles. As a champion of plain English, Fred writes clear, concise, conversational copy. As an editor, Fred is a master of copyediting and of stylistic and substantive editing.
Fred has a B.A. from Carleton University (Ottawa), a business diploma from St. Lawrence College (Kingston), and a certificate in editing from Simon Fraser University (Vancouver). He is a past member of the Editors’ Association of Canada.

Receipt of registration will be confirmed by e-mail or best alternative. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received within five (5) business days prior to an event. If cancellation is received with more than five (5) business days before the event, a $5.00 administration fee will apply. Registered participants who fail to attend an event will be invoiced for the full fee, due 30 days from the date of the invoice. Registration can be transferred to another member of your organization, if you are unable to attend.
