Canadian Parents for French cherche une personne expérimentée et dynamique qui a l’esprit d’entreprise pour agir à titre de bénévole en tant que

TUTEUR DE FRANÇAIS BÉNÉVOLE EN LIGNE

Canadian Parents for French cherche des bénévoles qui agiraient à titre de tuteurs en français en ligne dans le cadre de son programme pilote. Le titulaire aidera l’enfant à parler en français et à améliorer sa conversation, sa lecture et son écriture dans cette langue. Les bénévoles doivent être à l’aise en travaillant avec de jeunes enfants, tant en français qu’en anglais.

Nous recrutons des bénévoles qui peuvent consacrer de 1 heure à 2 heures par semaine à notre programme d’automne qui se déroule du 20 septembre au 6 décembre 2021. Les bénévoles doivent pouvoir se joindre à nous pendant toute la durée du programme. Les bénévoles choisissent leur propre horaire chaque semaine. Ce programme se déroulera six jours par semaine. Il commencera le 11 janvier et prendra fin à la mi-juin. Nous offrons une orientation et une formation à tous les bénévoles. Il s’agit d’un poste virtuel et le tuteur travaillera avec des enfants de partout au Canada au moyen de Zoom pour les aider à enrichir leur français.

QUALIFICATIONS
De solides aptitudes en français et en anglais parlés et écrits sont requises. Les tuteurs œuvreront dans les deux langues officielles.
Une expérience de travail antérieure avec les enfants et les jeunes constitue un atout.
Les tuteurs doivent avoir un ordinateur, un ordinateur portatif ou une tablette ainsi qu’un microphone et une caméra et une connexion internet régulière.

Canadian Parents for French is seeking an experienced, dynamic and entrepreneurial individual to volunteer as VIRTUAL VOLUNTEER FRENCH TUTOR

Canadian Parents for French is looking for volunteers to act as online French tutors for children enrolled in our tutoring programs available across to students between the ages to 5 to 14 anywhere in Canada. Tutors will help children by speaking in French and working to improve the child's French in conversation, reading, and writing. Volunteers must be comfortable working with young kids and in both French and English.

We are recruiting for volunteers who can dedicate 1.5 to 2 hours per week (minimum) for our fall program which runs from September 20 to December 6. Volunteers must be able to join us for the entirety of the program. Volunteers choose their own schedule each week. This program runs 7 days a week. This program will run from throughout 2021. Orientation and training (including Zoom training) provided to all volunteers. This position is virtual, and tutors will work with kids across Canada to help them maintain their French via Zoom.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong spoken and written French and English is a needed. Tutors will be working in both official languages.
Prior experience working with children and youth is encouraged.
Must have access to a computer, laptop or tablet with a microphone and camera and a steady internet connection.

Canadian Parents for French is looking for volunteers to create resources for our Virtual French Tutoring Program. Materials created for the program will act as templates for our virtual tutors. We are looking for volunteers who can create Google Slides/PowerPoint presentations that will be used for kids between the ages of 6 to 14. Each presentation will be focused on a new topic. Volunteers will research and source credible Canadian resources with which to create an interactive virtual lesson for kids of our program. The lessons are designed to get the kids speaking and practising their French. All the kids are learning French a Second Language.

Training and support will be given.
Volunteers will be creating resources in French. High level French skills are a must, B1 or higher.

This position is open now and work will be completed on or before October 15,2021. We are looking for volunteers who can give a minimum of 2 hours per week. Volunteers can set their own hours.
