Mission Statement - Canadian Parents for French (CPF) is the national network of volunteers which values French as an integral part of Canada and which is dedicated to the promotion and creation of French-second-language learning opportunities for young Canadians.
Canadian Parents for French is looking for volunteers to act as online French tutors for children enrolled in our pilot program. Tutors will help children by speaking in French and working to improve the child's French in conversation, reading, and writing. Volunteers must be comfortable working with young kids and in both French and English.
We are recruiting for volunteers who can dedicate 1 to 2 hours per week for our fall program. Volunteers choose their own times each week. This program will run from September until December of 2021.

Canadian Parents for French is looking for volunteers to create resources for our Virtual French Tutoring Program. Materials created for the program will act as templates for our virtual tutors. We are looking for volunteers who can create Google Slides/PowerPoint presentations that will be used for kids between the ages of 6 to 14. Each presentation will be focused on a new topic. Volunteers will research and source credible Canadian resources with which to create an interactive virtual lesson for kids of our program. The lessons are designed to get the kids speaking and practising their French. All the kids are learning French a Second Language.
Training and support will be given.
Volunteers will be creating resources in French. High level French skills are a must, B1 or higher.
This position is open now and work will be completed on or before August 30,2021. We are looking for volunteers who can give a minimum of hours. Volunteers can set their own hours.
