Shepherds of Good Hope (SGH) is one of the largest not-for-profit organizations dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless and vulnerably housed in Ottawa. Many of the people who access programs and services at SGH live with mental health challenges trauma and addictions. A leader in supportive housing and harm reduction, SGH provides around-the-clock, comprehensive services to all genders, across eight locations throughout the city of Ottawa. By offering innovative programs and services in a non-judgmental environment, SGH is committed to creating homes for all, community for all and hope for all.
Volunteer Services is looking for one to two individuals to assist with administrative tasks in the department. Tasks would include responding to emails, filing applications, inputting data into our volunteer system, as well as other miscellaneous tasks requested by the volunteer coordinators.
The applicant would be responsible for handling money (the float) providing bingo players with their cards as well as provide assistance to those who may win. The applicant must be available from 7:00pm-12:15am on Sunday nights to participate.
All required training will be provided before commencement.
