Shepherds of Good Hope (SGH) is one of the largest not-for-profit organizations dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless and vulnerably housed in Ottawa. Many of the people who access programs and services at SGH live with mental health challenges trauma and addictions. A leader in supportive housing and harm reduction, SGH provides around-the-clock, comprehensive services to all genders, across eight locations throughout the city of Ottawa. By offering innovative programs and services in a non-judgmental environment, SGH is committed to creating homes for all, community for all and hope for all.
The Hope Garden is a great place to meet new people and share your passion for the outdoors. Our garden volunteers are a wealth of knowledge, from lessons learned to members with an education in agriculture/horticulture; we are always learning tips and tricks for a healthier organic garden.
