Our centre in Toronto, which has been open for three years, has had great success providing therapy and counselling, peer support, a legal clinic, fathering programs, mentorship and support services for male victims of trauma and violence. They provide services, research, advocacy, outreach and public education on all aspects of men's issues and focus on the health and well-being of boys, men, fathers and families. However, we are only beginning to develop programs here in Ottawa.

Volunteer Opportunities

We plan to begin offering a support group for male victims of domestic abuse (violent or otherwise) in January, 2019. We have a 12 week curriculum we plan to use, with a group meeting one evening a week. We hope to find effective group cofacilitators, ideally one male and one female, to lead the group processes.

Our organization is a charity providing clinical and support services to men and families. We need a skilled person to process our major financial records (small scale, only one employee, one location) and generate a monthly financial summary for presentation to our governing board.
