Volunteer Opportunities

If you enjoy wrapping gifts this is the perfect volunteering opportunity for you! The Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre is recruiting volunteers to help at the Charity Gift Wrapping at the St-Laurent Shopping Centre from November 26th to December 24th.
Shifts are:
Monday to Saturday: 10am-1:30pm / 1:30-5:30pm / 5:30-8pm (8:30pm on Fridays)
Sunday: 10am-1:30pm / 1:30-5pm.
Requirements: Great gift wrapping skills & proof of double vaccination against Covid-19
Location: St-Laurent Shopping Centre

Our Groceries for Seniors program is recruiting volunteers to join their team of grocery shoppers!
Volunteers are provided with a grocery list and completes this grocery order at the Fallingbrook Metro on 10th line road in Orleans and deliver grocery order to the clients homes. Mileage paid to volunteers.
**Must be willing to deliver to rural areas such as Vars/Navan/Cumberland.
Further details will be provided by the Groceries Coordinator.

We have a great need for volunteer drivers to bring our senior clients to our Adult Day Program located at at the Orleans Health Hub. With the use of volunteers personal vehicles, clients are picked up at their home by the volunteer and driven to the Day Program and picked up by the same volunteer to bring back home. Our clients live in the east end of Ottawa (Orleans, Cumberland, Gloucester, Vars, all the way up to Hunt Club/Findlay Creek).
Requirements include: Valid Drivers License; Good working vehicle; Liability insurance of $2M; Vulnerable Sector Check. Proof of double vaccination against Covid-19
Mileage is paid.
