The Ottawa Mission is a non-profit, faith-based organization, meeting the needs of the homeless and the less fortunate in the Ottawa region. Established in 1906 on the foundation of food, clothing and shelter, the demand for The Ottawa Mission's services has increased dramatically in recent years. The Ottawa Mission's programs and services have evolved to meet the ever-changing face of homelessness in our city.


Volunteer Opportunities

Organization: The Ottawa Mission
Help those who are hungry, homeless and hurting by joining the Ottawa Mission as a route marshall for the Coldest Night of the Year (Saturday,Feb 24th, 2017) event. Coldest Night of the Year is a walking fundraiser. Route Marshalls are responsible to assist walkers along the walking route at key intersections or critical corners. Route Marshalls also assist by generally encouraging, cheering and celebrating each walker as they navigate the route.
