Volunteer Opportunities

incubator13 is an accessible Employment Skills and Entrepreneurship Hub with a particular focus on youth, small business and young entrepreneurs. We are an inclusive and accessible (co-working) space located in eastern Ottawa which combines Entrepreneurship and Employment Skills Training, access to co-working facilities and regular events & workshops.

1. As part of our support services, we pair the young entrepreneurs with experienced business owners, managers, or in general people who would be interested in supporting an up- and coming entrepreneur. This support can be technical, general support, networking, guidance, life skills and so much more.
2. As a second pillar of our work, we support youth below the age of 30 to learn useful skills to support them in their journey towards employment. This can be areas such as resume review, interview training, job & life skills training, general support and development and more.

If you feel like you would like to make a difference in a young person’s life, this is the right spot for you. Please contact us (incubator@crcrr.org) to learn more.

Our city-wide initiative, Gifts-in-Kind, enables individuals, corporations, governmental, and non-profit donors to share items with the community. Every In-kind donation received by our program is given to local organizations, not-for-profit, social service agencies, and other participating organizations that reallocate donations to their clients in need.

We are looking for volunteers to work with our project officer to strengthen our team, help with the organization and distribution of donations, support our social media channels, and companies who would like to make donations.

Please get in touch with us if you would like to join the Gifts-in-Kind family.
