A community based social service agency serving 134 families living in geared to income housing. Our mission is to provide educational, recreational and social to the familes living in our area of Walkley and Russell Rd.


Volunteer Opportunities

Confederation Court Community House is a local not-for-profit who offers programs such as homework club to the children in the surrounding low income neighborhood.

We are looking for compassionate, energetic and patient people who like a challenge, to volunteer for our homework club. Hours are Monday-Thursday 3.30-5.30 (minimum of once a week required). Duties will include, helping children with homework, playing educational games with children, helping staff maintain behavior and light clean up duties.

This is a fun and rewarding way to give back to the community while getting needed volunteer hours.

We are looking for a sewing instructor to teach women sewing.
We ask for a commitment of one night per week for at least 8 weeks, if not longer
We have the sewing machines and the materials.
