This operations lead is responsible for event logistics leading up to the event and on the day of. This would include working collaboratively with the committee and staff partner to develop a strategic plan and critical path to ensure that all elements from event set-up to take down are considered.
Must be available to attend monthly meetings and able to participate and provide support on event day in Kemptville.

Recruit event participants and teams. Contribute towards the development and implementation of a recruitment strategy based upon guidelines from previous years. Attend monthly meetings and work collaboratively with the volunteer committee and staff partner. Must be available to attend monthly meetings and ideally will be able to participate and provide support on event day in Kemptville.

The registration lead oversees the management of donations leading up to the event and tabulates results on event day. The role responsibilities will include maintaining an accurate, up to date, list of top fundraising teams and individuals. As a member of the committee, the lead will contribute towards the strategic development and implementation of the event, will attend monthly meetings and work collaboratively with the volunteer committee and staff partner. Must be available to attend monthly meetings and ideally will be able to participate and provide support on event day in Kemptville.

Working alongside the event chair, the co-chair is responsible for overseeing the Planning Committee to ensure the success of Neon Night.
As a member of the committee, the lead will contribute towards the strategic development and implementation of the event, will attend monthly meetings and work collaboratively with the volunteer committee and staff partner.
The incumbent would reside in Kemptville and need to be available to attend monthly meetings.
We ask all of our Neon Night committee leads to participate and provide support on event day in Kemptville.

The specialist will help to ensure that new volunteer applications are responded to in a timely fashion and will assist with on-boarding new volunteers. Part of the role will involve reviewing and responding to volunteer applications and conducting interviews (over the phone). This role will eventually evolve to include intake and screening of volunteers for the province once our new platform is ready to launch! The ideal candidate will possess: superior communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency with MS Office and ideally experience with conducting interviews.
Once trained, the volunteer Intake and Screening Specialist would have the option of working from home or at our office.
