As a member of the Ottawa Good Food Box team of volunteers, the Good Food Box Packer packs boxes of fresh fruit and vegetables once a month for delivery to neighbourhood sites. Are you: Able to commit 6 hours per month? Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment? Reliable? Physically able to bend and do light lifting (10 - 15 lbs) for 5 hours? Also, a general interest in food, health, and community is an asset! Please note that the packing does not happen in our downtown Centre.
