A Canada-wide, volunteer based literacy organization. We teach people to read and write and nurture a positive environment that promotes lifelong learning. In the Ottawa area we have literacy programs for children, youth and adults in Ottawa East, West, and down-town core. These locations include Libraries, Public Schools, and Community-based Shelters.

Frontier College needs both French and English speaking volunteers to support children and youth in reading and homework at the Hazeldean Public Library on Wednesdays 4:00-5:30. Training is provided. You do not need teaching experience and a Police Check is completed free of charge. References will also be provided upon request.
