Description

Blair Court Community House is a small non-profit located in a subsidized housing neighbourhood in the South-East of Ottawa. We offer private tutoring to children and youth in this low-income and diverse community. We are currently seeking tutors for our program with availability on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening from 3:30-5:30pm with a focus on either Math/Science, English or French. The tutor will work one-on-one with students to provide personalized tutoring to meet their needs. The ideal volunteer will have experience working with children and youth as well as a background in education or tutoring.
