Every year the Foundation receives thousands of emails and phone calls for help and information. In order to respond to growing needs we are endeavoring to expand our volunteer base. If you are passionate about the human-animal bond experience and have some time and expertise to inspire and sustain the innovation, coordination, and integration of Animal-Assisted Support Services within Canada's health-care, social services, corrections and justice sectors, then you have come to the right place.

You will be working with: Aboriginals (First Nation, Metis, Inuit); People with disabilities or medical conditions; Youth (16-18 years); Youth (11-15 years); Children (0-10 years); Animals; Seniors; Youth (19-24 years); Homeless

How will this volunteer opportunity benefit you?
Experienced candidates will share their passion, talents, and expertise to invest in the human-animal bond experience to support people of all ages with disabilities, life-altering injuries, chronic illnesses, and mental health issues by working with us to build bridges between communities and Animal-Assisted Support Services across Canada. All opportunities are flexible and most often can be carried out remotely by phone, email, conference calls and online collaboration.

CFAS works diligently with its volunteers to foster mutually convenient and rewarding engagement.
