Help those who are hungry, homeless and hurting by joining the Ottawa Mission as a route marshall for the Coldest Night of the Year (Saturday,Feb 24th, 2017) event. Coldest Night of the Year is a walking fundraiser. Route Marshalls are responsible to assist walkers along the walking route at key intersections or critical corners. Route Marshalls also assist by generally encouraging, cheering and celebrating each walker as they navigate the route. How will this volunteer opportunity benefit you?
Volunteers will be supporting a walking fundraiser that is taking place in over 100 communities across Canada to raise money for those who are hungry, homeless and hurting. Locally the Ottawa Mission will be the recipient of the funds raised for the Ottawa Downtown walk.

How will the organization benefit?
Volunteer route marshalls will help make the walk a success by assisting the walkers along the route.
