How will this volunteer opportunity benefit you?
We do participate in the Community Service program for High School credit which is an opportunity to support a community non-profit organization benefiting families and individuals. Many students stay on and continue to volunteer years after finishing their hours. For more mature volunteers it is an opportunity to be part of a group of individuals from all walks of life who are interested in providing quality family entertainment to those in need as well as the general public. You will have to opportunity to learn many aspects of running a cinema that takes a school and turns it into a full scale modern theatre with box office, snack bar, novelty movie items and with Dolby 3d and surround sound. It is more than just showing a movie...the audience is integrated into the show with draws for prizes, birthday recognition, and much more.
