The core mission of the GEFC is to provide 4 days of emergency food, and also to support and encourage discussion on reform and social change to address food insecurity. We are working towards this through innovative projects and partnerships within the community. An individual who is committed to food security and social justice would find this work rewarding.
How will the organization benefit?
The GEFC must attract a large volume of high quality food donations and raise over $160,000 every year. This requires a consistent outreach and messaging strategy to keep donors informed and engaged. The organization will benefit from new approaches as it aspires to attract new donors.
