Les programmes scolaires du BSJ (qui font partie de nos services de santé mentale) offrent des programmes de traitement de jour scolaires et thérapeutiques pour les adolescents francophones de 12 à 15 ans dont les comportements interfèrent avec leur réussite scolaire.

Nous recherchons un (e) bénévole possédant des capacités avancées en langue française pour donner une instruction de couture individuelle une ou deux fois par semaine (idéalement le lundi et / ou le mercredi) de 1h30 à 2h30 jusqu'à la fin de l'année scolaire.

Le bénévole doit être habile à coudre (une machine à coudre est fournie sur place), avoir la capacité d'enseigner et d'engager un jeune qui a des difficultés scolaires.

Cette opportunité de bénévolat aura lieu à l'École Secondaire Omer-Deslauriers.

YSB's School Based Programs (part of our Mental Health Services) offer academic and therapeutic day treatment programs for Francophone teens ages 12-15 whose behaviours are interfering with their success in school.

We are looking for a volunteer with advanced French language abilities to provide one-on-one sewing instruction once or twice a week (ideally Monday and/or Wednesday) from 1:30-2:30 until the end of the school year.

The volunteer is required to be skilled in sewing (sewing machine is provided on-site) with the ability to teach and engage a young person who is struggling academically.

This volunteer opportunity will take place at Ecole Secondaire Omer-Deslauriers.
