Day Camp Assistant

Commitment: Short term less than 6 months

Location: Ottawa - Central

-Provide support to children ages 5-13 who are visually impaired
-Provide sighted guide to various day camp activity locations
-Participate in all day camp activities: Games, Cooking, Crafts, Museum visits, Swimming, and Sports
-Report promptly to the day camp leader of any issues
-Work closely, collaboratively and effectively with day camp volunteers and staff
-ATTENTION: Must be available to attend an orientation workshop
