We are currently seeking for a Social Media and Newsletter Marketing Volunteer who is a knowledgeable, creative, and reliable individual with excellent communication skills. The volunteer will fill an important role, to further support our efforts establishing a strong brand & social media presence and spread awareness around consumer success stories, agency events, and mental health news.
** This position has the unique ability to work around one’s schedule, and opportunity to work from home**
o Plays a lead role in implementing social media & brand awareness
o Manages and oversees social media platforms such as: Facebook , Twitter
o Creates email newsletters every quarter and for special events
o Provide informative and relevant content via photos, graphics, educational resources, etc.
o Assist in creating AdWords campaigns and providing campaign oversight
o Maintains a content calendar for planning future issues and retain consistency
o If possible, attend Upstream events to provide social media coverage
A successful applicant:
o Must be at least 21 years of age

o Has knowledge on social media channels such as: Facebook, Twitter etc.
o Possess excellent understanding of Social Media and Marketing best practices
o Has expertise in email newsletter strategies
o Has ability to use online tools to engage members, donors, and corporate partners
o Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Has strong organizational and time management skills
o Works well independently and as part of a team
o Excellent interpersonal skills
