Language Preference: English

Number of Positions Available: 1

Location: Hull/Gatineau

Deadline: Jan 2, 2019

Description

CPAWS Ottawa Valley is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2019 as one of the region's leading wilderness conservation organizations. Over the years, we have contributed to many significant conservation gains and have the privilege to work with a number of passionate people. We are seeking a volunteer with experience creating short videos to help us develop one to three short videos about the organization, the history and opportunities before us to share on social media and at events as a more dynamic introduction to what we do. We have access to some great photography, but not much in the way of video, but we do get out to various locations, such as Gatineau Park, Algonquin Park or the Dumoine River - some key campaign areas from time to time and the volunteer could join us to collect shots. We would also like to interview some staff and volunteers as well as past supporters. We have no video equipment ourselves, but it may be possible for the organization to rent some if required.
