Are you looking for an opportunity to develop, enhance or share your program/event management skills? If so, we have a great home-based volunteer opportunity for you!

Families Matter Co-Operative, a dynamic volunteer-based non-profit organization, is looking for an enthusiastic program coordinator to help oversee and deliver on all aspects of diverse programs and events (i.e. small monthly networking events and educational activities requiring 2-3 hrs. of your time per week). This volunteer role includes program planning and development, providing support to the program committee, and assisting with activity/event logistics. We require someone with good communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently. Knowledge of the developmental services sector and/or not-for-profit sector would be an asset but not required.

You will be working with: the Executive Director, Board Members, other volunteers, as well as interacting with families & their loved ones with a developmental disability.
