Description

Children’s Wish Heroes Challenge (formerly known as Exile Island) is a team challenge that brings together two types of Children’s Wish heroes: our supporters and our wish children!
Each team is tasked with raising $10,000, the average cost of a wish. Celebrate your team success with your wish child on challenge day, where teams compete in creative challenges designed to test team spirit, mental agility, and physical ability. Challenges are inclusive of all team members and participating wish children. Event Date June 15, 2015

The Chair of Heroes Challenge will provide direction and leadership to the Organizing Committee and will work closely with Children’s Wish to ensure that Heroes Challenge is a high success.

Responsibilities include:
• Managing an Organizing Committee
• Acting as the liaison between the Organizing Committee and the Children’s Wish office
• Scheduling and chairing committee meetings and delegating tasks to members as they arise
• Overall planning of the event and ensuring timelines are met according to the critical path
• Ensuring the event runs smoothly
• Managing donations and ticket sales the day of event
• Over seeing volunteers who assist with revenue collection
• Must like the Children’s Wish Facebook Page and share posts related to Heroes Challenge.
