Position: Web content writer
We are in need of talented Web Content Writers to join our team. The content writer will create and develop well researched and accurate content for print and digital media within deadlines. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of conducting thorough research on health related topics, generating ideas for new content, proofreading articles before publication and creating engaging content. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and organized.

• Research health related topics and trends (combining online sources, interviews and studies) to compare and create content that is innovative and original
• Create concise, eye-catching, and innovative headlines and body copy
• Consistently brainstorm and collaborate with team for new ideas and strategies
• Promote content on social media
• Develop a good network over social media
• Regularly produce well researched content on a variety of topics for multiple platforms (website, blogs, articles, social media, banners, case studies, etc.)
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
• Proofread and edit content produced by other members of the team
• Identify client needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Update website content as needed

• A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications or related field preferred
• Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
• The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
• Portfolio of published articles
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Creative and innovative thinker and planner
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Confident in producing work across multiple platforms
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), Google Docs etc.
