How will this volunteer opportunity benefit you?
Our clients come to O&DIWG in their most vulnerable state - injured or disabled, often at risk of losing their livelihood, and without support. For those interested in a career in advocacy (law, social work, etc), this position provides valuable insight into the WSIB and appeal process that will be relevant to any advocacy career. This position also provides an opportunity to make a difference in disadvantaged communities.

How will the organization benefit?
We need a diligent and personable volunteer to be available during office hours for clients who need help. Keeping the office open, with someone at the desk and on the phones, allows O&DIWG to connect with injured workers at their convenience, when they need us.
