Calling all Heroes!

We are seeking a team to assist with the planning and execution of a Hero themed evening festival!

This FUND-draising event is designed to both raise funds for CNIB, it will also be a community festival that brings together people of all ages, and celebrates the heroes of the sight loss community.

Seeking skills in any of the following:
-Event Planning
-Marketing
-School based fundraising and/or organizing
-Business-to-Business fundraising or networking
-Community Outreach
-Community Fundraising
-Social media

PLEASE NOTE: While we will be contacting people as soon as possible for this event due to staff holidays, applications received after June 14th will likely not receive a response until July 4th. Applications received prior to June 14th within 2 days. .

How will this volunteer opportunity benefit you?
In addition to being a fun way to engage with the Glebe and Ottawa community, this event will give you the opportunity to be part of planning a festival, and a chance to work with people of both the sight loss, and comic book/sci-fi community.

How will the organization benefit?
CNIB relies 100% on donations to provide services to our clients and their families. This event is an important part of both raising those funds and in fulfilling CNIBs mission to empower members of the sight loss community to live the lives they choose.
