Entertainment Area Volunteer (Multiple positions) - The Capital Fair

Commitment: Short term (less than 6 months)

Availability: Weekends; Flexible; Evenings; Days

Location: Ottawa - South

The Capital Fair is an annual 10 day fair organized by the Gloucester Agricultural Society. This year, the fair will be held from August 16th - 25th and will feature events such as live music, agricultural demonstrations, monster truck shows, a midway and much more.

We are looking for volunteers to help us onsite throughout the duration of the fair in the following positions:

Entertainment Assistant
- Gather information and research potential entertainment acts
- reply to emails

Hospitality Assistant
- Ensure trailer is cleaned
- Stock fridge and support beer tent
- Assist cleaning of grounds (i.e. picking up trash)

Stage Hands
- Guide entertainers from side entry to the stage area
- Assist with carrying equipment
- Assist sound crew
- Move picnic tables & assist cleaning of grounds (i.e. picking up trash)

We will need one person to fill each shift daily from August 16th - 25th:
Shift 1 - 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Shift 2 - 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Shift 3 - 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
