Description

This program is a partnership between Glebe Cooperative Nursery School and the Glebe Centre. The children from the nursery school and our residents will engage in activities and music. Volunteers are needed one Friday per month to help set up and encourage children and residents to connect. An entertainer will facilitate with music and props.

How will this volunteer opportunity benefit you?
Volunteers will be able to offer support to preschoolers and seniors as they socialize and engage. Role playing and redirecting will be transferable skills the volunteer will be able to utilize and learn. Volunteers will be able to contribute to their community in a meaningful way and see positive outcomes from their contributions.

How will the organization benefit?
Our programs and activities cannot run without the support of volunteers. Our residents benefit from the ongoing support of our volunteers.
