How will this volunteer opportunity benefit you?
You will learn and share skills and interact with others of like interests. Be part of a community that promotes family entertainment to those who may not be able to afford the movies as well as the general public. Working with students that maybe volunteering for the 1st time including foreign students as part of their Community Hours Program. We are all volunteers.
How will the organization benefit?
Volunteers totally operate the Ottawa Family Cinema! There are no paid positions and it takes many willing hands to set up, run and take down the cinema each week. We have been in operation for 40 years depending on volunteers to maintain and grow the Ottawa Family Cinema. We need keen volunteers such as yourself with vision and enthusiasm to facilitate the continued operation of the cinema and all its activities.
