Description

On November 14, we are celebrating our 50th anniversary with a celebratory dinner at the Wabano Centre in Vanier. The margins on dinners are tight and we would like to raise additional funds to support our work through a silent auction. We are seeking one to three volunteers to help canvass in the community for donations of items which could be part of this year's silent auction. In past years, items such as restaurant cards, moderately priced outdoor equipment, smaller art pieces, museum passes and event tickets have all sold very well. We are hoping to find a confident volunteer who is willing to approach local businesses in Ottawa to request contributions to our event.
