Description We NEED 10 more people for our Planning Team. We need these 10 people to manage the volunteers we recruit to work the day of the event, We need leaders that are committed and reliable to work with other team leaders on the Planning Team. The Planning Team is made up of approximately 35 to 40 other people. We at HOPE recruit day of volunteers and we need YOU to manage that they get to their assigned area, get their lunches, and get their breaks, and water. HOPE, Helping Other People Everywhere, is a local not for profit charitable organization, and we are in our 38th year.
This years event will take place on Saturday July 11th 2020. Our annual event is an outdoor festival sporting event, that combines a volleyball tournament with all day music. We have a volunteer planning team managed by 3 event managers and the 40 person planning team help manage the 700 day of volunteers, as well as help with some of the planning of this large event. We at Hope are looking for some new members of our planning team. The commitment is not large, approximately 30 hours over a 4 to 5 month period, and about 20 of those hours would take place the week of July 6th to July 24th. We are looking for volunteers that are dependable and reliable, committed to the full 5 months. We need volunteers with confidence and great leadership skills.
We require all volunteers to meet with the Operations Manager to be interviewed and so we can give more information to the applying Volunteer to see if this opportunity will fit.
