Canadian Cancer Survivor Network is looking for a group of engaged and outgoing volunteers to get their workplace involved in our Coffee Day fundraiser – which is one of our network’s largest fundraiser that engages the business community from across our city. Our registered charity is looking for difference makers - that’s you - who will act as the main point of contact between their workplace, and our fundraising team.

The volunteer will work with Canadian Cancer Survivor Network’s fundraising team to assist in organizing their office’s Coffee Day fundraiser. We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with:

- Helping inform everyone in your office about Coffee Day
- Recruiting colleagues to take part in the day
- Organizing bake sales, competitions, and/or additional opportunities to raise money – this is where you can be as creative as you like!
- Encouraging your colleagues to meet and exceed your team’s fundraising goal
- Assist in collecting donations during your workplace’s Coffee Day
- Helping support an important cause while having fun!

Coffee Day is a fundraiser that everyone can get involved with, and is a great way to bring your colleagues together while helping support an important cause! Throughout the month of June, workplaces across the city will be hosting coffee breaks where businesses dedicate a time and day where their employees gather together to share a pot of coffee and enjoy something sweet. In a nutshell, Coffee Day provides an excellent team-building activity that enables your workplace to support cancer survivors and patients.

All we ask is for participants to make a donation for their coffee, and there are multiple ways for your workplace to take part and help support our cause. Every single dollar raised counts, and goes towards supporting CCSN’s mission.

Interested in learning more about how you and your workplace can get involved? Simply apply to this position or email partnerships@survivornet.ca
